GenGaze operates in three core modalities (workflows): Image-to-Image (combines heatmap overlay with background image for AI transformation), Inpainting (regenerates specific regions within images), and Outpainting (calculates center-of-mass from attention data to drift and expand image boundaries beyond original frame). Your tracking data determines targeting and positioning for AI generation in each mode.

Tracking Modes:

• WebGazer: Tracks the voluntary and involuntary movements of your gaze (saccades and fixations). (Requires calibration by clicking dots on screen and looking at each calibration point when it appears.)
• Handpose: Hand tracking detects fingertip positions through your webcam. Hold your hand in the camera view.
• Roam: Automated movement creates random cursor patterns across the screen.
• MSI: AI saliency prediction uses neural networks to detect where humans typically focus in images.

Workflow Options:

• Random Prompt: Selects random creative prompts from curated collections for each generation.
• LLM Enhance: Uses AI to expand and improve your prompts before image generation.
• Random Workflow: Automatically selects ComfyUI workflows (30% outpainting, 65% inpainting, 5% direct generation).
• Feedback Mode: Each generated image becomes the base for the next generation, creating evolving sequences.
• Iterative Mode: Automatically generates new images at set intervals when enabled and Generate Image is pressed.
• Auto Mode: Uses optimized workflow collections for automatic model switching during iterations (weighted selection).

Composite Features:

• Composite Mode: Combines multiple generations into a single expanding canvas.
• Fit to Frame: Scales composite to fit preview area, toggle between output and composite view.
• Crop Box: Shows movable 1024×1024 selection area for extracting portions as new base images.

Usage: Click "Start Tracking" to begin building attention heatmaps, then "Capture Heatmap" to freeze the data, then "Generate Image" to create AI artwork guided by your focus patterns. The tracking button cycles through: Start Tracking → Capture Heatmap → Restart Tracking.
